Book Club – February 2015

Don’t be mad at me – I didn’t make my reading target this month! I am still going on The Fictional Woman by Tara Moss (and really enjoying it by the way), but it will have to wait until next month to be reviewed. I blame February – this stupid short month is very deceptive, and I personally feel like it’s out to get me. Maybe.

I did manage to get through some good books though, and here they are: Continue reading

Book Club – January 2015

book club JanuaryIt’s nice to take a little break from decluttering to do my January book club! January has been a crazy crazy month. We had three amazing weddings, started back at work, had to get a new car, I redesigned (or at least started to) my blog aaaaand I’m midway through my #icandeclutter challenge and another very exciting project which I will share with you soon.

Happy New Year! It’s good to be back on my blog!

I had a pretty slow end to December 2014  with my reading and crafting, because right after I finished the 12 Days of Christmas I came down with the worst flu I’ve ever had. It knocked a week out of my very precious holiday time, so I’m a bit disappointed about that, but definitely glad to be feeling better and very thankful that I am healthy again.

Here’s what I read in December 2014: Continue reading

Book Club – November 2014

book club novemberI’ve read some wonderful books this month – and one terrible one. My focus has been on true crime lately – I’ve become a bit obsessed with books about trials. I guess it makes sense, seeing as I have recently been admitted as a lawyer. :)

Let me know if you’ve read any of my books for this month, and what you thought – I love to hear your comments! You are also most welcome to follow along with my monthly reading on Goodreads, and I would equally love to check out your lists too. Continue reading

Book Club 101

book1Wow, can you believe it’s the last day of August? The Christmas shop ’round the corner from us opens for the season tomorrow! This year is going by so fast…

Today I thought I would take a little step away from craft projects, and share with you something that I’ve been wanting to do for a while. Aside from crafty things, my favourite hobby is reading. This year, I challenged myself to get through 55 books, and have really tried to branch out in what I read. I love reading and writing book reviews, so I thought that perhaps once a month I would share with you some of the books I have read. I would love to hear any of your comments or thoughts, and I would even more love to get some book suggestions if you have any!  Continue reading
