Due to my well-known status as an inveterate cat lady (or barren baby-hating witch* to my friends), I like to expend my excess maternal energy on my cats (which they just love, let me tell you).
*Note: I don’t actually hate babies. I actually quite like them when they belong to someone else, and have even been known to call one cute (shh don’t tell anyone). I can’t refute the witch thing though.
So as you probably know, I’ve been sewing for a good number of years now. But this, this humble needle case, might be my favourite thing I’ve ever made. Is it the soothing colours? Don’t worry – this post isn’t about how my #icandeclutter challenge has led me to a life of drugs (yet). No, the challenge grinds on, days after it should have ended, because I have realised that it takes a lot longer to sort and pack mountains of junk than I expected. Or maybe I just accumulated more junk that I expected. Either way, the first three loads have left the house, and there are only about 40 to go! I will update you all (hopefully soon) when the challenge is finito.

It’s the third day of Christmas, and I had a work Christmas party this afternoon. Definitely feeling full of the Christmas spirit right now! Champagne and chocolate = Christmas spirit, right?
