Due to my well-known status as an inveterate cat lady (or barren baby-hating witch* to my friends), I like to expend my excess maternal energy on my cats (which they just love, let me tell you).
*Note: I don’t actually hate babies. I actually quite like them when they belong to someone else, and have even been known to call one cute (shh don’t tell anyone). I can’t refute the witch thing though.
So as you probably know, I’ve been sewing for a good number of years now. But this, this humble needle case, might be my favourite thing I’ve ever made. Is it the soothing colours? I kicked something awesome out of the stress box this week (FYI the stress box is how I am currently referring to my brain) – my first ever commission!!!!!!
Yes, to all those people who are always telling me I should make money from my hobbies, I can now officially say that I do! The wisdom of taking on my first ever commission a few weeks before my wedding was questionable, but there you go.
